What do I do if my screen is unresponsive?

In the unlikely event that your screen becomes unresponsive, first try performing a screen calibration. To do this, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Temporarily remove the rubber case.

  2. Hold the Volume+ Button and the Power Button at the same time to trigger a touch screen recalibration.

  3. If the screen is unlocked you will see a message. Follow instructions and please don't touch the screen until the calibration process is complete.

  4. If the screen still does not respond, try performing a soft reset.

Sometimes, freezing is caused as a side effect of Android's ability to multitask. Android allows users to have different apps running in the background which may cause the tablet to slow down and eventually it may crash or freeze. If you are experiencing this issue we encourage you to download ES Task manager, a free app that will make closing apps easy for parents and their kids.
